We came on a Friday afternoon for lunch. The service was great and efficient even though they were busy. We both ordered the crispy taco plate, beef and shrimp. Both were delicious. Felt very homemade and fresh. It will definitely be our new little neighborhood spot.

Recently moved to West Sac, so of course I wanted to check out Sal's. So excited to have this local gem so close to me. In my handful of times here so far I've had the Mexican Independence (enchiladas with red/green sauce), crunchy tacos and red pozole. The pozole has been my absolute favorite though the other dishes were solid too. It had so much flavor and was everything I'm looking for when it's cold outside. I've also had margaritas and palomas and they've all been made balanced and delicious. Service can be a bit slow because there's typically only a couple servers for the whole restaurant and it does get slammed, so just know it may take a bit but it's worth it. Also, I love all the papel picado that's on the interior and have been meaning to take a pic with the TACO sign too. A last insider tidbit; Ernesto Delgado recently took ownership. He's known for Mesa Mercado, Mayahuels and La Cosecha. With him at the helm, I know this place is in good hands.

Sal's is one of my top 3 favorite taco spots in West Sacramento. Their chips and salsa are so addicting. The crispy taco plates are usually my go to here. They have well seasoned beans served with the plates. I recently tried their burrito and the chicken was super tender and delicious. Plenty of outdoor seating. Friendly service. Reasonable prices.

I can't believe this is the first time I have ever visited Sal's! I went with a friend for lunch. I got the street taco plate, which included 4 tacos. I ordered one of each kind of meat: chicken, pastor, asada, and carnitas. The food was delicious, the interior and decor was vibrant and festive, and the service was good. Great little local spot!

We are looking for some authentic mexican food and we found this in west sac. The place is great you will really feel like you are in mexico. Very colorful place. They serve fast and I love the crispy tacos more than the soft shell tacos. We ordered a lemonade but its a Big No for us. It doesn't taste good and it has an after taste to it. But overall its pretty authentic and good for the price.

The menu has changed since the last time we were here. It's a larger menu now with more variety. We started with the frijoles dip(bean dip). It was really good. It was stringy with cheese. It came with non spicy red and green salsa. I liked the flavor of the green one more. They even refilled the bowl of chips. We also split the plate of street tacos. I liked the steak/asada tacos best. With their new menu I recommend eating here. It was a little chilly as the door kept opening and closing and it's a small place. We were 2 booths from the door. I'd wear more clothing next time.

Cute, inviting exterior and patio area. Dia de Los Muerto decor, reminds me of restaurants in San Diego. Service was fast and friendly. Loved my enchiladas and friends enjoyed their burritos. Portions are large, comes with delicious rice and beans, about $14-15 per entree. We came here for lunch hour on a Friday. They were efficient, so we will definitely be back!
